In May 2024, Hendrickson assumed the role of Dean of Agriculture, Animal Science, and Transportation at Northeast Iowa Community College, marking a significant milestone in his career. One of his notable roles was working as a Dairy Equipment Product Specialist with Waikato Milking Systems. His practical knowledge of the dairy industry, combined with his academic experience, gave him a unique perspective on agricultural technology and innovation.
His earlier work also included positions as an academic advisor at UW-Platteville, where he advised students in the College of Engineering, Mathematics, and Science.
