Jennifer Talarico of Haddon Township, NJ, passed away on February 11, 2025, while surrounded by her children. Her sudden death was the result of injuries she sustained in a car accident just days before.

Jennifer was a treasured mother to Robert Talarico (Anna de la Motte) and Giacinta Talarico, a devoted grandmother to Marlo and Nora, a loving sister to Tessandra Talarico (Joanne), Jo-Anne Myers (Kenneth), Judith Briar (George), Jeffrey Talarico, and Jared Talarico (Patricia), a cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews, and a gracious friend to countless others. She left an indelible mark on everyone who knew her.

A retired social worker, writer, and multi-disciplinary artist who worked with fiber, metals, and various multimedia forms, Jennifer lived a vibrant, full life that inspired many. She will be remembered for her deep capacity for love, her patient listening, and the joyful way she celebrated both her own life and the lives of those around her.

After completing graduate school in Seattle, Jennifer served as a hospice social worker throughout South Jersey and later worked as a school social worker in the Pennsauken School District until her retirement. She also led a Buddhist sangha at South Woods State Prison, volunteered as a meal delivery worker for the Metropolitan Area Neighborhood Nutrition Alliance (MANNA), and hosted numerous book clubs and discussion groups for the Sun literary magazine. Her creative endeavors spanned written works and art in fiber, metals, charcoal, and watercolor, which were showcased in various fairs, shows, and markets. Even in retirement, she continued to pursue her passions, traveling abroad and working part-time at My Fair Trade Lady. Above all, she cherished her role as Nonna, a loving grandmother and a steadfast support to her children and daughter-in-law.

Friends, family, and all those whose lives she touched are invited to join the visitation, service, and celebration of her life at the Camden County Boathouse on Tuesday, February 18th.
